News just in is that Tony Westwood of Westwood Golf Academy fame is returning to the UK after spending time over the last three years working first in Kiev, Ukraine and then for the last two and a half years in Portugal.
In Kiev, he was the first British PGA Coach to work in the country. 45 million people and only 100 registered golfers at that time.
In Portugal, he has latterly been based as the Head Professional at the Academia do Clube Nacional de Golfe at the Pestana Beloura Resort in Cascais.
He is looking forward to returning to the UK to showcase his unique approach to golf learning which has been developed through his studies in NLP, Hypnosis, Personal Development and Accelerated Learning.
These skills help focus the golfers mind on what actually happened when they hit the ball and take them away from the emotional roller coaster most golfers spend their time on when playing golf.
He would also like to test his skills and research in other sports. Recently he worked with a Portuguese International Rugby Union player on his focus and concentration to help his place kicking.
Tony believes that in everything we do there is an opportunity to learn something and the skill is to understand not only what to learn, but also the processes behind learning and the reasons why should practice in a certain way to gain the maximum benefits.
Great practice should not only build consistency, it should also build the mental strength to be patient, disciplined and committed to the task. He is keen to help golfers understand that it is possible to practice with 100% success which will make your time on the practice range more beneficial and your time on the golf course more enjoyable.
He is also joining forces with two other specialists to create a golf learning experience never been seen or heard before in golf.
As Tony says "Every golf shot is an experiment, the more experiments you make and understand the more YOU will DISCOVER".

Wow, thanks for sharing about Westwood golf academy it's quite useful to know about it and I too agree that we learn more when we go ahead with some new process.It's really a cool post for every golf learners.
